Alex Foster

Alex Foster owner, and director of Foster’s Services, became an electrician by trade in the late 1990s and since that time has worked extensively in the commercial/health care electrical and communications industry.

Alex has a firm understanding of processes and requirements in the electrical industry and understands the needs and requirements for a modern commercial electrical contractor, having experienced the industry across many facets including fields such as medical electrical, electrical distribution HV/LV, communications systems, EV charging ,Facility/Asset maintenance ,management of projects and contracts.

Reactive and preventative maintenance problems are addressed with best practice and Australian Standards solutions, and he has been involved in many engineering-based issues at sites across Western Australian in both public and private facilities.

In 2006 Alex formed and started Foster’s Services Pty Ltd to further specialize in the health care and commercial electrical fields and has grown Foster’s to the point it is today, a flexible multi discipline electrical and communications service company.

Apart from being an electrician Alex has also completed an Associate Diploma in Electrical Engineering, HV switching, Communication and industry endorsements in cabling disciplines and many vendors specific communication courses and applications. Alex is a registered security agent and consultant.

Alex is currently involved in the Australian Standards committee for medical electrical areas and working groups for skills transitions in the industry.

Alex is also a Western Australia and national board member of Master Electricians Australia representing the views of electrical contractors and the industry at a state and national level.

EV Charging Systems a specialized division of Fosters Services.
In 2021 EV Charging Systems was formed due to the growing demand from our client base to assist in the uptake of EV charging and provide service and support, in the rapid uptake of electric vehicle needs.

It is with passion and enthusiasm that Alex supports clients and customers on there ESG pathways and Net Zero fleet transitions through EV Charging systems.

Passionate about the industry Alex is also an active member of a number of other EV related organizations as well as a driver of electric vehicles.
