The Charge Up Workplace Grant was created to help small to medium enterprises, non-profit organisations, and local government bodies seeking to add electric vehicle (EV) charging facilities in their workplace. The second round of funding has now been opened, and now includes DC charger support.

The Charge Up Workplace Grant was created to help:
- Small and medium enterprises (SMEs)
- Not-for-profit organisations registered with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profit Commission
- Local government authorities
- Charge point operators

Round Two of the grant funds:
- 50% of the purchase cost of Level 2 (7 to 22kW) or Level 3 (25 to 350kW) EV chargers allowing for up to 8 ports per site
- 50% of installation costs for EV chargers
- 50% of electricity network costs associated with the charger installation
- 50% of the cost of smart charging software for a period of two years
