Shane is a highly experienced professional with over 15 years in the trade. His extensive expertise encompasses both electrical and communications systems.
Shane has held significant roles in his career, including supervisor and coordinator of repairs and maintenance for substantial contracts, such as those with the Department of Finance and HSS. He has recently transitioned into a full-time role as Service Coordinator and Project Manager for EV Charging Systems.
His in-depth knowledge of EV charging solutions includes installation and maintenance across multiple brands of both AC and DC chargers. Shane is Tritium certified, including factory training in Brisbane, and also Schneider Master eMobility trained and certified for the installation of AC and DC charging equipment.
Beyond EV chargers, Shane is a seasoned communications technician and electrician with extensive experience in communication systems, including structured cabling, fiber optics, and NBN infrastructure builds. As a lead communications technician, he has successfully delivered projects involving rack upgrades and relocations, network audits, Cisco VoIP upgrades, and PABX telephony networks.
Shane has worked with numerous commercial clients, including a strong focus on healthcare and government organisations. This includes significant electrical and communications upgrade work at major facilities like Subiaco, Midland, and Mt. Lawley hospitals. Shane frequently implements new communications/electrical infrastructure rollouts, as well as providing preventative maintenance, service, and installation in both electrical and communications areas. He has also overseen reactive maintenance teams on various government contracts and for private clients.
This background and understanding of systems allows Shane to understand and manage the EV Service stream industry, liaise with CPO Services, manufactures and customers to enable seamless interactions in the EV Charging Sector. Driving and EV himself for a number of years Shane understands the requirements for KPI and service.
