Project Requirements
The team installed five Schneider EV link wall boxes and EcoStruxure EV Charging Expert to provide a turnkey solution. A major requirement from the client included the ability to charge the five cars when they arrived, with a dashboard of usage. The chargers were networked together with Schneider EcoStruxure EV Charging Expert LMS, scalable to interface across the other NMHS care sites.
Our Solution
The works involved five dedicated 32A circuits, type B RCD protection to a separate protection enclosure, custom pedestal installation, basket and tray work, stand-alone expendable structured cabling network, dashboard user display and RFI swipe access. Further improvements implemented include charger optimisation and load balancing, change to RFI tags for charger access and tracking of usage. This project is being used as a showcase/test site for other areas of WA Health.
